Sterilisation
Optimum
sterilisation is of utmost importance to us in order to prevent transfer of any kind of
infection during dental treatment. We adhere to strict international guidelines during
sterilization and storage of our dental instruments and equipment.
Our dental chairs
and units are thoroughly scrubbed with disinfectant between patients.
Gloves, glasses,
syringes, needles, suction tips are disposed after every patient.
Instruments are then scrubbed, disinfected in an ultrasonic bath, steam
autoclaved and then stored in an ultraviolet cabinet until they are
used.
We here at Dental Affairs have recently adopted the Sterilization Monitoring Program and Infection Control Standard recommended by:
ADA(American Dental Association)
CDC(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
OSAP(Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention)
OSHA (Occupational safety and Health Administration)
